Troubles and trials will come.  We will face opposition and difficulty.  But the victory Jesus won for us can never be taken away.

Listen to the great cloud of witnesses: keep your eyes fixed on Jesus.  Keep going together.  Give thanks for those who’ve gone before.  Look forward to the joy set before us. 

The gospel calls us to give up much, but promises so much more as we learn to live God’s best life, the life God made and calls us to walk with him.

Together with God we can overcome all opposition: Nehemiah shows us we do that by working hard while trusting in God’s strength.

I don’t want to be like a hardened, dry sponge – I want to be soaked in the Spirit of God, I want to overflow with his life and love.

There two ways God’s people can be light to the world and help create healthy communities today: kindness, and generosity.

‘All involved’ means Jesus’ disciples gathering and identifying what he’s given us so together we can live God’s best life more and more.

I don’t want to be stuck as Birth Ben – I want to be Born Again Ben – made new and transformed day by day by the Spirit.

God sometimes answers our questions and doubts. But all of the time he responds ‘trust me, put your faith in Jesus so you might have life.’

Living a different life has two sides: giving up and turning away from the world’s way, then taking up and turning towards God’s way.
