And so, it was back to the van for some dinner and clothes drying...
Jess made herself a little cooking nest behind the van, using various plastic lids to shield the camp stove from the wind that was swirling around – making short work of drying our clothes, but causing a few issues for lighting matches!
This was our first van-cooked dinner of the holiday: pasta and chilli beans, with salad and ‘feta’ cheese, which turned out to be cheddar! We also had the most delicious pineapple for dessert – grown in the Philippines, and so sweet and juicy.
We didn’t take many selfies today, but here we are outside the van, shortly before we ate our dinner...
And after dinner we were joined by our ducky friend, who lay down next to us and promptly fell asleep!
Now it’s time to pack up the van, collect the clothes from the drying line, and try not to get too excited that we are visiting the Hobbiton movie set tomorrow...
