Jesus doesn’t ask us to have perfect faith - he asks us to come to him and trust him, no matter what.
The Bible is the one book we need - the one book through which God cleanses us, and trains us to do what is good.
God speaks. He tells us everything we need to know, to grow in godliness and holiness. The question is: are we listening?
God wants us daily to come to him in repentance, to receive his forgiveness. This is the gospel, this is his plan for your life.
The Holy Spirit is God’s gift to you: do you want him, do you want more of him, and how will you make the most of that wonderful gift?
Prayer is knitting our heart to God’s heart.
Let’s follow Jesus’ example and lead an unhurried life – no matter how busy we are – and learn to listen for God’s voice.
Joy is not found by seeking after things we don’t have, but deliberately choosing to enjoy and be satisfied with what God has given us, celebrating what we love, with one another, today and every day.
Communion points us to God’s goodness – which he is like all the time. But it also points us to the way we should respond: saying ‘thank you’ all the time.
How do we become more like Jesus, and live the life we’ve always wanted? The answer is: gardening.
