Unlike Nebuchadnezzar we need to humble ourselves - lest we are humbled by God.
May Jesus be our One Thing this year, and every year.
Friends, let’s be disciples and not the crowd. Let’s hear these words of Jesus, and put them into practice – and so build our life on solid rock.
How we treat wealth is a barometer for our heart. Does our attitude to wealth reveal us to be generous, or greedy?
Christians need a biblical attitude: neither judgemental, nor ‘anything goes’, but encouraging and warning one another with humility and love.
Friends, the problem is we aren’t Christian enough - we need a big does of humility - how can you grow in your discipleship today?
Our mouths reveal what is in our hearts - good and bad. We praise God and curse others with the same mouth.
The Law was always about freedom - to love and live as God intended.
James puts it like this: do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.
Mature Christians meet trials with perseverance, and meet doubt with wisdom.
