May we be a people of ‘one thing’: Jesus Christ, the true light that shines in the darkness.
If you feel the darkness close by this Christmas, I encourage you to turn to Jesus, the true light that gives light to everyone.
When we see how great, how indescribable is the gift of God to us in Jesus – how can we hold anything back?
No-one can take these blessings away from God’s adopted children. And the more we trust him, the more we’ll know these blessings in our lives.
By some crazy truth - which Jesus calls ‘love’ - the creator of the universe has chosen to be ‘friends’ with some of his creatures.
No matter how full, busy, noisy and bright our Christmases might be, without Jesus there is something missing. Without Jesus, Christmas may as well be empty, dark and silent.
Jesus’ light is for everyone and everywhen.
Are you willing to look beyond ‘people like me’ and befriend your neighbour, whomever they may be?
There are not many paths: there are two. Psalm 1 simplifies things right down, to help us understand this message: nothing is so crucial as belonging to the congregation of the righteous.
God’s plan for you is this: (1) he is with you always, (2) delight in him and you will be satisfied, (3) be fruitful.
