Communion points us to God’s goodness - which he is like all the time. But it also points us to the way we should respond: saying ‘thank you’ all the time.

How do we become more like Jesus, and live the life we’ve always wanted? The answer is: gardening.

God never promises to take all our troubles away, but what he does promise, is to be with us despite and through those troubles.

Size doesn’t matter to God - so let’s give him what we have, however large or small, and trust him to use us wherever we are.

When Jesus commands us to love, he does not give us licence to ignore great swathes of Scripture, but gives us the best way of understanding what it means.

Jesus is not a visitor. Jesus is one of us. He doesn’t visit us, he dwells with us.  Jesus doesn’t come and go, he came to stay.

God still works through the unexpected today - through surprise, and through wonder.
