Spring Creek Holiday Park

We arrived at the park around 6pm, as it is only about 20 minutes from the ferry terminal.  The owner was really helpful, and said that as we are staying three days, after tonight he should be able to move us to a better berth, in the shade and by the river.

The facilities are clean and basic, but the whole thing is costing us less than £60 for three nights’ stay!  The biggest surprise is that a hot shower costs $1 for five minutes... so we’ll have to be quick...

For dinner I tried to pop to the supermarket down the road for some salad to go with our pasta and beans, but (of course) it was shut.  Hopefully tomorrow we’ll be able to buy some meat and supplies for a BBQ.

And, in true Brocklebank form, we’ll be moving to a nicer spot in the morning!
