Being a disciple of Jesus is a long and costly journey. The more we die to ourselves, the more we can receive his abundant life.

Will we respond to Jesus like Simeon: with open arms? Can we learn to be open to the Spirit’s nudges?

Micah’s vision of the future is inspiring – I long for the day when we can know the fullness of Jesus’ peace that we know now, but only in part.

Moral failure, breaking trust, twisted behaviour – that’s Micah’s diagnosis of God’s people.

Samuel set up a stone to remind God’s people of how God had helped them, so they would remember to keep saying thank you to God.

Love is... Jesus. He alone is true love, so he alone shows us what it looks like to love truly.

God cares for all things, for all creation – and so should we.

Friends, I long for us to live faithfully.  I long for us to stand on the foundation of forgiveness and grace.  I long for our lives to be formed in humility and love.

God has given us everything, all we need in Jesus so let’s – together – build carefully and one day share in the joy of our true master builder.

The Spirit transforms and renews us from within, so we can see things as God sees them, so we can See Spiritually.
